Fenix BC22R Rechargeable Bike Light

Powerful rechargeable bike light Fenix BC22R delivers a luminous flux of up to 1400 lumens (ANSI) with range of up to 156 meters. The power supply is provided by a replaceable 18650 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 3400mAh, which is included in the package and is charged via USB-C connector directly in the lamp. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-40 diode. The lamp uses specially shaped optics, which directs light only forward and to the sides, not upwards. The light cone is therefore partially cut off from above. a does not dazzle other drivers and pedestrians. At the same time, the optics used create a very wide light cone that smoothly illuminates the entire space in front of the bicycle, so it shines even in places that ordinary bicycle lights cannot cover. The Fenix BC22R bicycle light is therefore suitable not only for use on roads and cycle paths, but also perfectly handles lighting on trails. The design of the holder allows for quick assembly and disassembly of the handlebar light without the use of tools, and the lamp can also be quickly removed from the holder and used as a high-performance hand light. The holder is compatible with handlebars with a diameter of 22 to 32 millimeters.

Unique design allows the lamp to be hung inversely (above and below the handlebars), when the light cone is cut off from above and you can still see the control and indication on the lamp. The package also includes a reduction for GoPro mounting. Fenix BC22R offers a total of five digitally controlled power modes with a battery life of up to 41 hours, including flashing mode. Using a bicycle light

From the factory, there may be a battery inside the lamp insulating cap. Before using it for the first time, remove the battery remove.

On turning on or off Hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. The light will always switch to the last set mode (except flashing), you can switch to other power levels at any time during operation by pressing the button. To switch to flashing mode, hold the button for 1.2 seconds while the light is on.

Battery capacity indication – with the light off, press the button once briefly, then the indicator LED in the button will light up for three seconds. Green light or flashing indicates a battery charge of more than 50%, red light or flashing indicates 50% and less. The indicator LED also lights up when the lamp is on., so the user is constantly informed about the battery status while driving.

Low battery warning – if the battery capacity drops below a safe level, the lamp will automatically switch to lower power modes to ensure the longest possible runtime (it is then not possible to switch the lamp to higher modes). If the battery is critically discharged, the button will start flashing red. In such a case, we recommend charging the lamp as soon as possible to prevent the protective electronics built into the battery from turning off and thus the light from going out.

Intelligent overheating protection – When using the lamp at high power settings for a long time, a large amount of heat can accumulate. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 60 °C or higher, it will automatically reduce the output by a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output will gradually increase again.

Charging

• Flip open the rubber cover of the USB-C connector on the bottom of the lamp and use the included USB cable to connect it to a computer, power bank, USB mains adapter or USB car adapter.
• The button lights up red while charging, and green when fully charged.
• Charging time is approximately 3 hours depending on the power of the adapter used. The Li-ion battery does not suffer from memory effect, so the lamp can be recharged at any time.
• While charging, the emergency light can be used, but only in two modes: 50 and 200 lumens. This will extend the charging time.
• After charging and removing the power cable, be sure to seal the USB-C connector cover.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. Following these rules will ensure that the lamp is properly protected against water.
• If the light is flashing, not switching to higher modes, or not turning on, it could be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is almost empty, charge or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The battery cap is loose, tighten it.
