Rechargeable lantern Fenix CL22R - white

Fenix CL22R is a practical portable rechargeable lantern that you can use to illuminate a room, tent, campsite, caravan, cottage, boat or work desk. It offers a circular and bottom lighting function with afterglow up to 80 meters. It is controlled by a rotary control with a central button. Both lighting modes can also be combined to achieve a total output of up to 500 lumens. The rotary control can be used to continuously regulate power lanterns ranging from 5 to 200 lumens.

The lantern is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which is charged using a modern USB-C connector. The lantern offers a total of twelve lighting modes. In addition to 360° lighting with a temperature of 3000 K, there is also a bottom light with a temperature of 6500 K, thanks to which the lantern can be used as a handheld flashlight. There is also red light, which does not interfere with the eyes' adaptation to the dark. Another novelty is the variable color lighting (also called ambient) that will liven up any garden party.

The bottom lighting is a very practical feature significantly energy-saving. It is especially useful in situations where circular omnidirectional lighting is not needed or when we need to illuminate a greater distance with a narrower light cone similar to a hand torch. The lantern is also equipped with a runtime extension function. With prolonged use in high modes, the lantern gradually reduces performance to achieve a longer lighting time.

Thanks to the durable and impact-resistant construction with cover IP65 The lantern can be safely used even in bad weather (rain). The top of the lantern is equipped with a hanging eye for hanging. Using Fenix CL22R

To turn on the omnidirectional light, turn the switch clockwise. Then press the center button to switch the light to the bottom light mode and press again to switch to the combined mode. Turning it counterclockwise turns the light off. If the light is on, turning the switch clockwise turns the light off. you smoothly increase the brightness and turning in the opposite direction will decrease the brightness. The lamp has a memory and will always turn on in the last set white light mode.

To turn on the red light or variable color lighting, press the center button of the switched off lamp for 0.5 seconds. The constant red light will turn on. By pressing the button again, you will switch to red flashing -> colors jumping -> colors morphing and by pressing it again, you will switch to constant red light. By holding the button for 0.5 seconds, the lamp will turn off. The lamp has a memory and will always turn on in the last activated color lighting mode.

The lantern is equipped with a runtime extension function. When used for a longer period of time in high modes, the lantern gradually reduces performance to achieve a longer lighting time.

Battery charge status indication – every time the light is turned on, the LED battery charge status indicator is activated for 3 seconds. Four lit LEDs mean that the battery is charged to more than 80%, three lit LEDs mean 60-80%, two LEDs mean 40-60%, one LED means 20-40% and one flashing LED means that the battery is charged to less than 20%.

Charging the Fenix CL22R lantern

To charge the lantern, lift the rubber cover of the USB-C connector. Connect it to a computer, a USB power adapter or a USB car adapter using the included USB cable (adapters not included). You can also use a standard mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector or a power bank to charge it. The indicator LEDs flash during charging to show the charging progress. They will remain lit after charging is complete.

The battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time and there is no need to wait until it is discharged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours (depending on the power of the charging source used).

The lantern can be used while charging, but the output is limited to a maximum of 100 lumens.
