Fenix PD40R V3.0 Rechargeable Flashlight

Rechargeable flashlight Fenix PD40R V3.0 offers excellent light output up to 3000 lumens and the afterglow 500 meters. The lamp has six different lighting modes, which can be easily switched using the rotating ring on the lamp head. The package also includes a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh, which is charged directly in the lamp via a modern USB-C connector. Use

There may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight from the factory; remove it before first use.

To turn on, turn the control ring to the right. Changing modes is done by turning the control ring (to increase power to the right, to decrease to the left). The strobe is in the far right position and one position before it is SOS. To turn off the flashlight, turn the ring to the far left position.

Intelligent overheating protection – if the temperature of the lamp rises above 60 °C, it will automatically start to reduce the power in gradual steps. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 60 °C, it is possible to use the highest power again.

Battery charge status indication – every time you turn it on, the indicator LED next to the charging connector lights up for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing means less than 25% battery capacity remains.

Charging – lift the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the lamp and connect the included cable (USB-C connector), connect the other end of the cable to a computer, or a USB adapter to a power outlet or car. During charging, the indicator next to the charging connector lights up red. When fully charged, it lights up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours (with 2A power supply). While charging, the flashlight can be used in 30 and 350 lumen modes.

Low battery warning – the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator LED on the side will start flashing red.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. Following these rules will ensure that the lamp is properly protected against water.
• If the light is flashing, not switching to higher power modes, or not turning on, it could be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is dead, charge it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The back of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
