Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 Rechargeable Headlamp – Nebula

Rechargeable headlamp Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 is characterized by a construction made of lightweight magnesium alloy, high resistance to water and falls, unique design with two reflectors and light output up to 1600 lumens. The reflectors create well-focused light beams that shine both far and near at the same time. The main reflector shines with a cool white light of approximately 6500K (so-called daylight white) and the secondary one shines with a warm white light with a shade of approximately 3000K (however, the cones cannot be combined). Warm light penetrates fog, rain and falling snow better, so you can use it especially in bad weather conditions.

The main spotlight offers 3 lighting modes, of which the maximum luminous flux is 1600 lumens, the second reflector offers maximum performance 800 lumens and you can choose from four lighting modes. The headlamp also has an SOS mode and whistle integrated on the strap for emergency situations. Power is provided by one Li-ion battery type 18650 with a capacity of 3400 mAh, which is included in the package and is charged via a modern USB-C connector directly in the headlamp. In case of emergency, the headlamp can also be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries.

Like other Fenix trail headlamps, HM65R-T V2.0 is equipped with a wide strap with Sport Fit System, i.e. with a wheel for easy adjustment of the strap length. You can quickly and conveniently loosen and tighten the headlamp with one hand on your head. The strap is also perforated and supplemented with reflective elements that ensure good visibility of the user and passive safety. Compared to the first generation HM65R-T, the new model is equipped with cutouts for quick strap removal, so the headlamp can be easily used for sports, work and tactical helmets with the help of Fenix ALG-03 and ALG-04 mounts. Thanks to its lower weight and lightweight construction, the headlamp is especially interesting for trail running, cycling and skiing. Using the Fenix HM65R-T V2.0 headlamp

The battery may have an insulating cap on it from the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.

The main spotlight is turned on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5s), the spotlight with a warm light shade is turned on by holding down the left button (0.5s). The headlamp always turns on in the lowest power mode. The light functions are switched by briefly pressing the corresponding button. Both spotlights cannot be turned on at the same time, but it is possible to switch between them by pressing the corresponding button. SOS mode is activated by holding down any switch for at least 1.2s.

Battery charge status indication – after a short press of any button (the headlamp must be off), the LED battery charge status indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean that the battery is charged to 80-100%, three lit LEDs mean 60-80%, two LEDs mean 40-60%, one LED means 20-40% and one flashing LED means that the battery is charged to less than 20%.

Control buttons can be locked, to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage – in the off state, press both buttons and hold for at least 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash, indicating locking. To unlock, hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Overheating protection – if the headlamp temperature exceeds 60°C, it will automatically start reducing the power in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, it is possible to switch back to higher power modes.

Low battery warning – when the voltage drops below a certain limit, it automatically switches to a lower power mode. If the battery status indicator starts flashing while it is on, the battery is almost discharged.

Charging – open the USB-C connector cover and connect the included charging cable, connect the other end of the cable to a computer, power bank or USB adapter for the mains or car (not included in the package). During charging, the status LEDs show the charging progress. After charging is complete, all four are lit. Charging a completely discharged battery takes about 3 hours. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low mode of the main or secondary reflector.

Using the rotary knob to adjust the length of the headband – to tighten the strap, turn the wheel counterclockwise. to loosen the strap, turn the wheel clockwise. Turning the wheel again after the strap has been loosened to the maximum will start tightening the strap again, thus reversing the direction of loosening and tightening.

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only high-quality Li-ion 18650 batteries, If you use disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp.
• If the headlamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it could be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is discharged - charge it or replace it.
  • The contacts inside the headlamp are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
