Fenix LR60R Rechargeable LED Flashlight

Ultra powerful rechargeable flashlight Fenix LR60R delivers extreme luminous flux of up to 21000 lumens and the afterglow 1085 meters. This performance is achieved by using one premium Luminus SFT-70 LED a twelve Luminus SST-40 LEDs, which are powered by an internal high-current Li-ion battery with a capacity of 57.6Wh (4x 4000 mAh). The battery is charged directly in the lamp via a modern USB-C connector. The lamp is controlled by a rotating ring, which can be used to switch modes in two modes: search (up to 21000 lm) and camping (up to 15000 lm).

The lamp is equipped with OLED status display, which displays the selected power mode, the remaining lighting time in that mode, and the battery charge level. In addition, the lamp can also be used as power bank and charge other USB devices from it. This searchlight is suitable for example for guarding large areas, official use or search and rescue operations and for all lamp enthusiasts.

All parameters of the luminaire (luminous flux, battery operating time, waterproofness, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use

Power on/off and switching between power modes – search mode is activated by turning the control ring on the head of the lamp clockwise, camping mode is activated by turning the ring counterclockwise. Turning the ring in the selected direction switches to other lighting modes of the selected mode. Turning the ring to the middle position turns the lamp off again.

Intelligent proximity sensor – The lamp has a built-in protection circuit. When the reflector approaches the illuminated object (about 60 mm) for more than 1 second, the lamp will automatically reduce the output to 50 lumens to prevent damage to the object from strong light and glare from reflected light. When the reflector is away from the illuminated object for more than 1.2 seconds, the lamp will automatically restore the previously used output level. The sensor is activated as follows: Turn the mechanical rotary switch three times within 3 seconds to the off → 50 lumens → off positions. The OLED display will show „ON“ and the light will flash twice in 50 lumens mode, indicating that the sensor function is activated. To deactivate, turn the mechanical rotary switch three times within 3 seconds to the off → 50 lumens → off positions. The OLED display will show „OFF“ and the light will flash eight times in 50 lumens mode, indicating that the sensor function is deactivated.

Charging – Turn off the flashlight and open the dust cover of the charging connector, plug the USB Type-C cable into the flashlight, and then plug the other end of the charging cable into any USB adapter. During charging, the OLED display shows the charging status. The typical charging time is approximately 1.5 hours when using a 40W or higher fast-charging USB adapter. The flashlight can only be used in 50 lumen mode while charging. Remember to seal the dust cover after charging is complete.

Power bank function – Turn off the light, open the dust cover and insert the USB cable into the USB Type-A discharge port or the universal USB-C port on the flashlight, then connect the other end of the cable to the USB device to be charged. During the discharge, the OLED display shows the current battery capacity, the flashlight can be used in all power modes. After the external USB device is finished charging, do not forget to seal the dust cover.

OLED display – after turning on the flashlight, the OLED display shows the battery capacity, selected mode and remaining lighting time. If the battery is charged to less than 10 %, the battery icon will start flashing on the display. If the charge level is lower than 5 %, a large flashing low battery icon will appear on the display to alert the user that the flashlight needs to be charged as soon as possible.

Intelligent overheating protection – The lamp heats up when used at high power levels for a long time. When the lamp reaches a temperature of 60°C or higher, it automatically reduces the power to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 60°C, it is possible to use high power levels again.

Low battery warning – When the battery voltage drops below the set level, the light is programmed to switch to a lower power level until the 50 lumen mode is reached. Once the power drops to 50 lumens, the battery icon on the OLED display will start flashing to remind you to recharge the battery in time.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Do not attempt to charge the flashlight unless the battery is inserted.
• Prolonged use may cause the O-ring to wear out. To maintain a proper water seal, replace the ring with a spare one.
• Regular cleaning of electrical contacts ensures trouble-free operation of the lamp, as dirty contacts can cause flickering, intermittent lighting or even lamp failure for the following reasons:
  • The battery is discharged. Charge it or replace it with a charged one.
  • The electrical contacts inside the lamp are dirty, clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
