Ultra-light and powerful rechargeable headlamp Fenix HL12R V2.0 will illuminate you with a luminous flux of up to 500 lumens and afterglow 125 meters. Despite the weight less than 73 grams hides an integrated 950 mAh battery with convenient USB-C charging directly in the body of the lamp. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 LED with a cooler light shade (daylight white) and one red LED.

There are a total of 6 power modes available, including red flashing and steady red light. The headlamp maintains waterproof according to IP66 standard, so it can withstand heavy rain without any problems. Be seen in every situation! Use

Power on/off and mode switching – the white spotlight is switched on by holding down the right button (approx. 0.5s), the spotlight with red light is switched on by holding down the left button (0.5s). It is possible to easily switch between white and red light even when the headlamp is switched on by pressing the button of the opposite spotlight to the one being switched on. The light modes are switched by briefly pressing the button of the illuminating spotlight. The light is switched off again by holding down the corresponding button for 0.5s.

Lock/Unlock – to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage – in the off state, press both buttons and hold for at least 3 seconds, then the headlamp will flash, indicating locking. To unlock, hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Memory for the last set power mode – the headlamp has a memory and turns on in the last set power mode of the respective reflector.

Charging – Flip open the rubber cover on the back of the headlamp and plug the USB-C charging cable into the headlamp’s charging port. When charging is complete, replace the dust cap. The typical charging time is approximately 2.5 hours with a 5V/1A USB power supply for a fully discharged headlamp. During charging, the headlamp can only be used in low mode of any reflector. Four indicators will light up and flash in sequence during the charging process. Four continuously lit indicators indicate that charging is complete.

Battery charge status indication – After briefly pressing any button (the headlamp must be off), the LED battery charge status indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean that the battery is charged to 80-100%, three lit LEDs mean 60-80%, two LEDs mean 40-60%, one LED means 20-40% and one flashing LED means that the battery is charged to less than 20%.

Intelligent overheating protection – When using the headlamp at high power settings for a long time, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the headlamp reaches a temperature of 55 °C or higher, it will automatically reduce the output by a few lumens to reduce the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the output will gradually increase again.

Low battery warning – If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. After reaching the lowest power, the headlamp will flash 3 times every five minutes to remind you to recharge the battery in time.

• If the headlamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it could be for one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is low, charge it.
  • The headlamp is locked, unlock it.
