Rechargeable battery Fenix 21700 6000mAh (ARB-L21-6000) with electronic protection (protected) brings the highest real capacity on the market. Li-ion rechargeable batteries are characterized by very high capacity, do not suffer from memory effect or self-discharge.

WARNING, the dimensions of the battery are 22 millimeters x 76.6 millimeters, so it has a larger diameter than regular 21700 type Li-ion. It will only fit in some lamps and headlamps. We have verified compatibility in these Fenix lamps: TK17, TK22R, TK30R, HT18R, HT32, LR36R, LD45R, PD40R V3.0, PD36R V2.0, Fenix PD45R ACE, Fenix WF25RM.

Fenix battery protection consists of internal safety mechanisms and protective electronics. Added electronic circuits prevent the cell from being overcharged or over-discharged. They protect it from short circuits or excessive current consumption. If the battery electronics evaluate that the limit values have been reached, they safely disconnect the cell.

Internal protection consists of a separator, state-of-the-art overheating protection (HRL – Heat Resistance Layer) and a special explosion-proof valve. In the event that the gas pressure in the cell exceeds a certain limit, the internal separator separates the electrodes inside the battery, thereby de-facto interrupting the exothermic reaction, and the explosion-proof valve releases the excess gas pressure outside the battery. Thanks to the combination of electronic and mechanical (temperature and pressure) protection, the Fenix battery is one of the safest li-ion batteries available.

Due to battery length 76.6 millimeters (including protective electronics) it can only be charged in chargers that are adapted to this length. See recommended chargers below.
