It uses one AA battery for power, with which it can last up to 100 hours in the lowest mode (more than 4 days). The light source is a top-notch white LED Luminus SST-20 and a pair of red LEDs. The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to <strong>IP68 standard<\/strong> to the depth <strong>2 meters underwater<\/strong>. The practicality of the headlamp is increased by the possibility of removing the light from the head mount and using it as a small pocket flashlight. In addition, the headlamp is equipped with a removable steel clip, so you can easily clip it to your pocket, belt or any strap. <strong>The lamp end is magnetic.<\/strong>, so it can be easily attached to anything iron. The headlamp offers a total of three power modes in white light mode and electronics with a function <strong>prolonging endurance<\/strong>, in 300 and 50 lumen modes <strong>gradually reduces power to achieve longer lighting time<\/strong> (see the endurance graph in individual modes). The red light can be set to steady or flashing mode (both 5 lumens).<\/p>\n<p>Very decent parameters, low <strong>weight only 86 grams<\/strong> (including alkaline battery) and a favorable price make the HM23 V2.0 suitable for a wide range of sports, hobbies, work and everyday activities. It is suitable for evening runs on roads, camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. It will also serve you as an emergency car light for unplanned situations and, thanks to its high durability, it is also suitable as a work headlamp for demanding conditions.<\/p>\n<p>All parameters of the luminaire (luminous flux, battery operating time, waterproofness, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI\/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h2>Fenix HM23 V2.0 headlamp parameters<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The powerful Luminus SST-20 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours is used.<\/li>\n<li>Three white light modes:<br \/> \n<ul>\n<li>measured with the included alkaline battery: 300 lumens (5.3 hours) -&gt; 50 lumens (11.5 hours) -&gt; 3 lumens (100 hours)<\/li>\n<li>measured with USB AA battery ARB-L14-2200U (not included): 300 lumens (9 hours) -&gt; 50 lumens (14 hours) -&gt; 3 lumens (90 hours)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Two red light modes:<br \/> \n<ul>\n<li>measured with the included alkaline battery: 5 lumens constant light (17 hours) -&gt; 5 lumens flashing (34 hours)<\/li>\n<li>measured with USB AA battery ARB-L14-2200U (not included): 5 lumens constant light (18 hours) -&gt; 5 lumens flashing (36 hours)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Continuous light beam with a range of up to 88 meters (1930 cd)<\/li>\n<li>Electronics with a function to extend the lighting time (gradual power reduction) and protection against reverse battery insertion.<\/li>\n<li>It uses one AA battery (alkaline, lithium, or rechargeable NiMH). These batteries are inexpensive and widely available. It is also compatible with the USB-C AA battery ARB-L14-2200U.<\/li>\n<li>Energizer L91 Ultimate Lithium lithium pencil batteries (especially suitable for extreme conditions and expeditions) will provide a long battery life.<\/li>\n<li>The lamp has a memory and always turns on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).<\/li>\n<li>Magnetic end, the headlamp can be attached to anything iron.<\/li>\n<li>Protection against reverse battery insertion (reverse polarity).<\/li>\n<li>The cleverly designed holder also functions as a clip when you remove the headlamp from the strap.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable perforated strap with reflective elements.<\/li>\n<li>Convenient control with one electronic switch on the side of the headlamp.<\/li>\n<li>The headlamp can be tilted in the holder over a wide range and thus adjust the desired lighting direction.<\/li>\n<li>Made from hardened aircraft aluminum.<\/li>\n<li>Shockproof against a fall from a height of 2 meters.<\/li>\n<li>Weight 86.3 grams (including alkaline battery).<\/li>\n<li>Headlamp dimensions: 7.36 cm x 3.6 cm x 3 cm (incl. holder).<\/li>\n<li>Dustproof and waterproof according to IP68 standard (tested underwater at a depth of 2 meters).<\/li>\n<li>The package includes a headlamp, a disposable alkaline battery, and a spare o-ring.<\/li>\n<li>The headlamp can be purchased with a USB-C battery Fenix ARB-L14-2200U, a spare strap, a Fenix APB-20, APB-30 case, and a set of black straps AFH-02 without reflective elements. Suitable for hunting, the military, or the police, for example.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Use<\/h2>\n<p>Unscrew the battery tube cap. Insert the battery with the positive pole facing the headlamp and the negative pole facing the cap.<\/p>\n<p>Headlamp off <strong>turns on<\/strong> to the last used mode <strong>white light<\/strong> by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.<br \/> Headlamp off <strong>turns on<\/strong> to the last used mode <strong>red light<\/strong> by pressing the button twice quickly.<br \/> Headlamp on <strong>turns off<\/strong> by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>If the headlamp is on, it is possible to cycle through the lights by briefly pressing the button. <strong>switch modes<\/strong> power in the order of 3 - 50 - 300 lumens (when switched on to white light) or red 5 lumens - red flashing (when switched on to red light). The lamp has a memory and always turns on in the last set mode (applies to both white and red light).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Low battery warning<\/strong> \u2013 If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. Once the lowest power is reached, the headlamp will flash 3 times every 5 minutes to remind you to replace the battery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Locking the headlamp <\/strong>\u2013 When the headlamp is off, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds, the headlamp will flash red four times to indicate the locked state. It will be unlocked by holding the button again for 3 seconds. Unintentional switching on of the headlamp can also be prevented by loosening the battery cap about a quarter turn.<\/p>\n<h2>Warning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the battery from the flashlight if it is not going to be used for a long time or if it is discharged.
