Fenix HM50R V2.0<\/strong> is the second generation of the popular rechargeable headlamp with a power of up to 700 lumens<\/strong>, afterglow 138 meters<\/strong> and red light. Either a Li-ion battery RCR123A (is included in the package<\/strong>), or a disposable CR123A battery (with a maximum output of 130 lumens). The RCR123A battery can be recharged via the USB-C connector right in the headlight<\/strong>. The light source is a top-of-the-line Luminus LED. SST-20<\/strong> with a daylight shade (5700 K). The control button on the side of the headlamp also has an indicator diode built into it, which shows the battery charge status when pressed.<\/p>\n

The headlamp is also equipped with a runtime extension function. For longer use gradually reduces power in small steps <\/strong>to achieve longer lighting time (see endurance graph). The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to the IP68 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater. The practicality of the headlamp increases with the possibility of removing the light from the head mount and using it as a small pocket flashlight. The Fenix HM50R V2.0 headlamp is an ideal companion for various sports activities, trips to nature and for home and work.<\/p>\n

All parameters of the luminaire (luminous flux, battery operating time, waterproofness, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI\/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Fenix HM50R V2.0 headlamp parameters<\/h2>\n

  • Powerful Luminus LED is used SST-20<\/strong> (5700 K) and two red Everlight LEDs, all with a lifespan of 50,000 hours.<\/li>\n
  • Four white light modes: 700 lumens<\/strong> (1.16 hours) -> 400 lumens (4 hours) -> 130 lumens (12.25 hours) -> 30 lumens (58 hours<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  • Two red light modes: 5 lumens <\/strong>(30 hours) -> red flashing 5 lumens (60 hours<\/strong>).<\/li>\n
  • Smooth light cone with afterglow up to 138 meters<\/strong> (4760 cd)<\/li>\n
  • Electronics with function extended lighting time <\/strong>gradually reduces power in small steps.<\/li>\n
  • Protection against reverse battery insertion.<\/li>\n
  • It uses one Fenix RCR123A 800 mAh Li-ion battery (ARB-L16-800P) for power, which is included in the package.<\/li>\n
  • In an emergency, one disposable 3V lithium CR123A battery can also be used for power, but the highest available mode will be 130 lumens.<\/li>\n

  • The headlamp can be purchased with a Fenix APB-20 case and a set of black AFH-02 straps without reflective elements. Suitable for hunting, the military or the police, for example.<\/li>\n
  • After removing the headlamp from the holder, it can be attached to the handlebars with the Lockblock and Bikeblock holders.<\/li>\n
  • It is also possible to purchase a spare strap, a USB power adapter and a USB car adapter, or a spare RCR123A battery with a micro-USB connector or a spare battery with a capacity of 800 mAh.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Use<\/h2>\n

    From the factory, the flashlight may be powered by a battery black insulating cap<\/strong>. Before using it for the first time remove from the battery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      \n
    • The headlamp is turned off. turns on<\/strong> to the last used mode white light<\/strong> by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.<\/li>\n
    • The headlamp is turned off. turns on<\/strong> to red light<\/strong> by pressing the button twice quickly.<\/li>\n
    • The headlamp is turned on turns off<\/strong> by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If the headlamp is on, you can cycle through the lights by briefly pressing the button. switch power modes<\/strong> in the order of 30 - 130 - 400 - 700 lumens (when switched on to white light) or red - red flashing (when switched on to red light). The lamp has a memory and always switches on in the last set mode (applies only to white light).<\/p>\n

      Overheating protection:<\/strong>\u00a0Operation at the highest mode is limited to 1 minute, then the output is gradually reduced to approximately 500 lumens over 5 minutes. If the internal temperature of the lamp rises above 60 \u00b0C, it automatically starts to further reduce the output in gradual steps until the temperature stabilizes. As soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 60 \u00b0C, the output is gradually increased again.<\/p>\n

      Battery charge status indication:<\/strong> After a short press of the button (the headlamp must be turned off), the LED indicator in the button is activated. If the indicator diode is green, the battery is charged to more than 80%. Green flashing means 50-80% capacity. If it is red, it is charged to 20-50%. Red flashing means that less than 20% battery capacity remains. The indication works correctly only with rechargeable RCR123A \/ 16340 batteries.<\/p>\n

      Charging:<\/strong> Lift the rubber cap of the charging connector and plug the included cable into the lamp (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or USB adapter for the mains or car (not included in the package). During charging, the side button lights up red and when fully charged, it lights up green. After charging the light, seal the charging connector again with the rubber cap. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 1.5 hours. In an emergency, the light can be used while charging, but only the lowest white mode and red modes will be available.<\/p>\n

      Low battery warning: <\/strong>If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the headlamp will automatically switch to lower power modes. If the headlamp is already switched to the lowest power mode and the battery is critically discharged, the indicator in the button will start to flash red. However, the headlamp will continue to light until the battery is completely discharged. Note: The low battery warning is calibrated only for the voltage of rechargeable Li-ion batteries.<\/p>\n

      Locking the headlamp against starting<\/strong>: Loosen the battery cap of the headlamp by a quarter turn, this will break the electrical contact and the headlamp cannot be switched on. The button can also be locked electronically - with the headlamp switched off, hold the button down for 3 seconds. After locking, the lamp will flash red. To unlock, hold the button down again for 3 seconds.<\/p>\n

      Warning<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.<\/li>\n
      • Use only high-quality batteries to avoid damaging the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the batteries.<\/li>\n
      • Remove the batteries from the flashlight if it will not be used for a long time or if the battery is already discharged. Otherwise, some lower quality batteries may damage the flashlight.<\/li>\n
      • If the headlamp is flickering, not switching to higher power modes, or not turning on, it could be for one of the following reasons:\n
          \n
        • The batteries are almost dead - replace them.<\/li>\n
        • The headlamp cap is loose \u2013 tighten it.<\/li>\n
